Saag Paneer (Spinach with Cheese)
Ingredients
500gms Fresh Saag (Spinach) Grated Ginger
Garlic paste
Cooking saag paneer Clean and wash spinach. Boil the spinach in water and let it cool. Now mash the spinach in a mixer. Heat the oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic paste and stir-fry for a minute. Now add onions and fry till golden brown. Add all spices except the red chilli powder. Now add the spinach and a little water if needed and cook for 4-5 minutes. Cut paneer into pieces (Paneer can be fried to golden brown in a separate pan or can be used as it is). Add Paneer pieces to the sauce and cook until done. Place the saag paneer in a bowl. Just before serving, heat pure ghee in a small pan. Add chilli powder and immediately pour the ghee on the saag paneer.
